Hoofddorp, Netherlands: Murata’s state-of-the-art robot cheerleaders performed for the first time in Europe at the MATKA Nordic Travel Fair in Helsinki, Finland.
In cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Finland, Murata organized four demonstrations @MATKA per day, on 21 and 22 of January. The demonstrations took place next to the Japan booth.
The Murata Cheerleader robots were launched in Japan in 2014 by Murata Manufacturing, a global leader in electronics. These robots represent the fourth generation of Murata robots, following bicycle-riding MURATA BOY and unicycle-riding MURATA GIRL. These cute dancers have raised huge interest worldwide. After a successful year filled with demonstrations in Japan and China, they finally made their debut in Europe, MATKA 2016, the largest travel event in Northern Europe, Helsinki, Finland.
