Fukui Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture), a manufacturing subsidiary of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., commenced clearing of the newly acquired land in June 2018 and proceeded with the construction of the new production building in September 2018. Construction has been finished, and a completion ceremony will be held on Tuesday, February 4. The completion of the new production building will enable the company to build a system able to respond to the anticipated increase in demand for ceramic components over the medium- to long-term. The expected demand will primarily be driven by the increasing sophistication of electronic devices and the electrification of automobiles.
