February 13, 2021, at night local time, an earthquake struck off the Coast of Fukushima Prefecture. Murata, our thoughts and prayers are with all those who suffered from this natural disaster.
Updates as of February 16 at 9:00 am are as follows:
Tome Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (Tome-shi, Miyagi)
Production has resumed since February 15.
Kanazawa Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Sendai Plant (Sendai-shi, Miyagi)
Production has resumed.
Tohoku Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.（Koriyama-shi, Fukushima）
Recovery work is continuing. Some of production is expected to resume by the end of this week.
