Attractions offered by Murata
We will introduce our battery-less sensor network, which operates by combining energy harvesting technology for conversion of environmental energy to electricity, with sensing technology and wireless technology.
Demonstrations
Energy harvesting
A demonstration will show how energy derived from energy harvesting could be used to monitor indoor environments.
- Piezoelectric generation: Controls the opening and closing of window shades with a battery-less switch
- Optical generation: Detects the opening and closing of windows with a magnetic switch
Sensor network
A demonstration will show how energy generated using a thermoelectric conversion element could be used to transmit information acquired by a pressure sensor via wireless connection.
Various other demonstrations will be offered in addition to the above.
