Summary

The theme for Murata's booth this year is "Everything is Connected".
Murata's exhibition will feature wireless communications, sensing and other technologies based on the image of a world in which "equipment & equipment" and "people & equipment" are connected together, as well as demonstrations and application examples of proposals for solutions that integrate these technologies.

The exhibition corner will consist of four zones: "Lifestyle", "Healthcare", "Automotive" and "Energy & Environment", which will be presented in actual usage scenarios; and a "Technologies" zone featuring the technology that enabled us to create ultra-compact electronic parts with a size of 008004 (0.25×0.125mm) , among other technologies.

In addition, technologies that are increasingly attracting attention will be introduced together with MURATA BOY from the stage in two performances entitled "Smart Society" and "Smart Life Selection".

We hope that as many people as possible will visit our booth to see the Murata solutions that are actively utilized in ever-diversifying situations, from the ubiquitous personal terminals and home and office equipment, through to social sectors.

Outline of exhibited items

Life Style

We will be introducing our WLAN smart modules, a communications module with built-in CPU, our SMD ultrasonic sensors that enable optimal smartphone and tablet PC operations without actually touching the screen, and other products that transform household appliances into information communications equipment.

Exhibition highlights

  • WLAN Smart Module/Everywhere Shopping-memo System
  • Bluetooth® Smart Module
  • SMD Ultrasonic Sensor

Healthcare

Technologies that support the fields of nursing and medicine and "smarten" up user-friendly healthcare will be introduced, including our MEMS accelerometer that contributes to the measurement of biological information without having to mount troublesome inspection gauges, etc.

Exhibition highlights

  • Heart Rate Detection Module Using MEMS Accelerometer with Wireless Communication

Energy & Environment

This zone will introduce Murata solutions that are actively used in ever-diversifying situations right through to social sectors, such as energy systems that enable "ecology without endurance", and our wireless sensor network technology that is anticipated to contribute to confirming the safety of social infrastructures, etc.

Exhibition highlights

  • Energy System
  • Proposals for Wireless Sensor Networks for Social Infrastructures and Smart Communities

Automotive

Here, Murata technology that contributes to the evolution of automobiles will be introduced, such as sensors for providing high-precision and high-performance driving, and communication modules that contribute to entertainment within vehicles, etc., together with demonstrations of actual equipment.

Exhibition highlights

  • Accelerometers
  • One stop Solution of Multimedia Environment in the Automotive
  • DC-DC Converter for e-bike

Technologies

We will be introducing ultra-compact electronic parts with a size of 008004 and electronic components for RF circuits.
