Tokyo Denpa Co., Ltd. (head office: Morioka-city, Iwate Prefecture), an affiliate of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., will change its name to Iwate Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. effective April 1, 2020.
Tokyo Denpa, which uses its own raw crystal materials and processing technology to manufacture crystal devices combining high quality and high added value, joined the Murata Manufacturing Group in August 2013.
The name change will strengthen the branding of the company and its products as part of the Murata Manufacturing Group and lead to new synergies that will enhance Murata’s crystal device business.
New company name: Iwate Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
(Old company name: Tokyo Denpa Co., Ltd.)
