Overview
Murata designs and manufactures many power products from chip level solutions to on-board DC-DC converters, to AC-DC (and DC-DC) front-end power supplies to more integrated power distribution sub-systems used to power racks in the Data Center. Our latest designs include both 19” and 21” Power Shelf solutions which allow our products to be used in traditional 19” EIA* racks as well as 21” Open Racks. As an Open Community member, our OCP power shelf is compliant with Open Compute V1 and V2 Power Shelf Specifications.
The OCP distributed power topology is an excellent solution which enables/offers benefits such as redundancy and expandability. Murata has capitalized on the original spirit of the OCP architecture by designing power shelves that are OCP compliant and offer leading edge performance while enhancing the solution with added flexibility, higher power density and efficiency, and improved features.
