Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting its products and technologies at the 5th INT'L SMART GRID EXPO.
5th INT'L SMART GRID EXPO (part of World Smart Energy Week 2015)
Period: Wednesday, February 25 to Friday, February 27
Location: Tokyo Big Sight East Hall
Booth No.: E4-26
Murata will exhibit electronic components and solutions related to smart energy, organized under the themes “HEMS/BEMS,” “Smart Meters,” and “Wireless Networks.”
With “creating,” “storing,” and “making effective use of” energy as the key concepts, this section of Murata’s exhibit will feature control units that enable autonomous control of energy and piezoelectric power generation switches that produce electricity when pressed, making them ideal for battery-less applications.
- Energy management system units for smart power generation and storage
- Piezoelectric generation devices
This section will feature AMR sensors capable of omnidirectional detection of electromagnetism, making them suitable for smart meter security applications, and a variety of capacitors combining large capacitance and low ESR.
- AMR sensors with 3D sensing capabilities
- Polymer aluminum electrolytic capacitors
- Electrical double-layer capacitors (EDLCs)
Demos will highlight Wi-SUN-certified Sub-GHz wireless connectivity modules and mesh network solutions incorporating wireless LAN smart modules.
