    Overview

    Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has launched new language versions of the "my Murata™" members-only portal site for engineers.
      

    Background

    Launched in October 2013 in Japanese, "my Murata™" offers registered users premium content not available to the general public, including a version of the "SimSurfing" design support tool from the capacitor site with enhanced functionality and a "bulletin board" where users can join discussions with other users. Now, for the benefit of customers outside Japan, Murata is launching English and Chinese (simplified) versions of the site.
      

    Summary

    "my Murata™" is a membership portal site containing conveniently accessed services and content provided by Murata via the Internet. In addition to a "bulletin board" for posting of discussions with other users on product features and specifications, as well as hints on selecting the right products, etc., registering as a user will also include the use of content restricted to members, such as details on the know-how for avoiding mounting problems and documentation related to quality, etc. Moving forward, the scope of products covered by the service will continue to expand, and new premium content will be added over time.

    Registration is free-of-charge, and anybody with a corporate e-mail address may sign up*.

    * Companies that handle rival products are not permitted to use services related to the products in question.
