Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. a manufacturing subsidiary of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Murata Manufacturing”) was established in 2011 and is located in the Southern part of the Philippines, known as one of the fastest developing industrial and commerce region in the country. Murata Manufacturing group is renowned globally for its expertise in designing, manufacturing, and electronic materials, cutting edge electronic components, and multi-functional, high-density modules. Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. specializes in the production of multi-layer ceramic capacitors-widely utilized across various sectors, from mobile devices to home appliances, and from automotive applications to energy management systems as well as healthcare devices. With our diverse product functions, we can proudly say that “Murata is everywhere”, as our innovations integrate seamlessly into our daily lives.

In January 2022, the Philippine plant became the inaugural overseas production site to transition to 100% renewable energy, by transitioning to geothermal power as company’s main source of energy. Prior to this, Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc., installed 6,768 solar panels in May 2021 to further promote the use of renewable energy. We, at Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. are steadfast in advocating for renewable energy across our business initiatives to combat climate change and consistently adhere with our RE100* global environmental initiative. Additionally, we completed our Murata Safety (MS) Center, an initiative aimed at increasing members’ safety mindset and personal safety responsibility using experiential learning which was inspired by Fukui Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. With the increasing demand of our product in the electronic market, we’ve created opportunities for more than 4,000 employees and aim to add more jobs as we continually expand and develop.
