MURATA MIRAI MOBILITY, an Interactive Exhibition Area Showcasing In-vehicle Solutions, Has Been Revamped

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “Murata”) has revamped MURATA MIRAI MOBILITY, an interactive exhibition area showcasing in-vehicle solutions, which is located at the Minato Mirai Innovation Center in Minato Mirai 21, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. 

MURATA MIRAI MOBILITY was opened in May 2021 as a facility to showcase Murata’s technologies and solutions for the mobility market. Visitors to the facility can learn about the electronic components and solutions that support the electrification of vehicles, and view demonstrations of vehicles equipped with components made by Murata, enabling them to experience Murata’s technology from various angles. 

As the mobility market continues to rapidly change, new components and solutions will be needed to support technologies such as AD/ADAS, infotainment, and MaaS. 
With these improvements, we have updated MURATA MIRAI MOBILITY to include a display of future technologies for the mobility market in the next 5–10 years, and a display featuring information on all of Murata’s mobility-related products. We have also expanded the meeting space for business communications, where ideas obtained through the exhibits can be immediately discussed and developed. We hope that this will help to make MURATA MIRAI MOBILITY a place that facilitates co-creation with our customers, and innovation in the mobility market. 

The updated areas are detailed below:
 
■ New Next Material Area
A display of new technologies for the next 5–10 years, in the form of materials. 

■ New Solution Panel Area
A permanent display of posters showcasing Murata’s latest products that are usually only exhibited at mobility trade shows. Visitors can learn about the latest products and their features. 

■ Expanded Communication Area
This is an area where visitors can pick up and look at actual circuit boards and electronic components that are used in vehicles, engage in discussions, and share technical knowledge. Being able to physically handle products and discuss them helps people to better share their ideas and move the conversation forward more effectively. 

Through MURATA MIRAI MOBILITY, we hope to provide new value to the mobility market by strengthening collaboration between Murata’s technologies and external partners, and promoting co-creation.
