The German Association of the Automotive Industry established TISAX certification to ensure a high level of information security protection by standardizing audit methods for information security among suppliers of automotive manufacturers. With the growing importance of information security in the automotive industry, TISAX certification is increasingly being referenced by numerous automotive and parts manufacturers when selecting suppliers.
