    Overview

    Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd.’s Chinese manufacturing subsidiary Wuxi Murata Electronics Co., Ltd. (Wuxi New District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province) held a ceremony today to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its founding. 
    Local Wuxi City officials and representatives of the community were among the many attendees. From Murata, President and Representative Director Tsuneo Murata, Wuxi Murata Managing Director Shinji Nomura, and other company representatives were in attendance.
    The President gave the opening remarks, stating that “Wuxi Murata has smoothly carried out operations and succeeded in continuing to develop and grow at an extremely rapid rate. This is thanks to the guidance and cooperation of many people, including the Wuxi Municipal People’s Government, and I would like to take the opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude.” The anniversary ceremony was held together with a ceremony to mark the completion of a new building. The Murata Cheerleaders also gave a performance, and robots were used to demonstrate Murata technologies to the attendees.
