Number of serious industrial incidents: Represents the number of serious industrial incidents that led to death or after-effects.
Industrial accident rate per 1,000 workers: The ratio of the number of occupational injuries and deaths per 1,000 workers in one year.
Murata Science and Education Foundation: The Murata Science Foundation was established in 1985 with the intention of contributing to the development of science and technology by promoting science. The foundation promotes international exchanges between researchers and issues grants for research that contributes to the improvement and development of science and technology or the resolving of various problems in the fields of the humanities and social sciences. Renamed to “Murata Science and Education Foundation” in 2023 and started providing grants for schools and faculty in order to promote STEAM education and production education from fiscal 2024.

Bribery prevention training is implemented annually via e-learning for a specific class of employees.
In FY2024, in addition to the number of Board of Directors meetings as shown in the table above, we had a written resolution that deemed a board resolution was made based on Article 370 of the Companies Act and the regulations of Article 25 of our articles of incorporation.
