Shenzhen Murata Technology Co., Ltd., a manufacturing subsidiary of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has completed the construction of a new building and an "Opening Ceremony for Shenzhen Murata Technology Co., Ltd. New Building" will be held.
Recently, demand for smartphones is steadily expanding, and demand for tablet PCs is also expected to steadily increase. In this environment, Shenzhen Murata Technology Co., Ltd. has constructed this new building in order to enhance its production capability of wireless LAN (WiFi) modules used for mobile phones, smartphones and table PCs. This new building will supply such products to the mobile phone terminal manufacturers concentrated in the Shenzhen area, EMS (electronic manufacturing service) and customers around the world.
The world electronic equipment market is considered to expand in the medium and long term on the back of the increasing demand in developing countries. Furthermore, in addition to the growth of the electronic equipment market, demand for electronic components is expected to rise in the future as a result of the development of high-level functions for electronic equipment. In response to this expanding demand, Shenzhen Murata Technology Co., Ltd. has constructed this new building as a part of its initiatives to further enhance the active production capabilities of the company.
