Summary
Murata will exhibit a variety of sensors that can be used for monitoring in applications related to preventive safety and maintenance management of industrial machinery and infrastructure equipment. Also on exhibit will be sensor network solutions that combine sensors and wireless communication modules.
Sensors
Murata will exhibit for the first time compact rotation sensors for use in motor rotation control and rotary position detection for the magnetic gear. In addition, the industry’s first angular acceleration sensors, suitable for applications such as robot motion detection and motor rotation detection, will be featured in demonstrations.
Sensor Networks
Murata will display RFID technology that enables reading and writing of data over I2C on RFID devices equipped with a wired I2C interface. A logger module that works in combination with sensors that detect temperature or physical impacts to manage log data during distribution will be shown as an application example.
There will also be demonstrations of a wireless sensor network employing monolithic thermoelectric conversion elements, a type of energy-harvesting element.
