    Overview

    Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. (Batangas, Philippines), a manufacturing subsidiary of Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd., has been engaged in the construction of a new production facility, the company’s second, since February last year. The new facility is now completed, and a completion ceremony was held on Friday, March 16 (local time). 
    The new facility has been constructed to raise production capacity in response to escalating demand for electronic components for mobile devices (smartphones, etc.), which are incorporating progressively sophisticated functions, and for automobiles, which are increasingly electrifying. Philippine Manufacturing Co. of Murata, Inc. is building a system that will allow it to respond to further expansion in demand.
