Murata to Exhibit at 7th Data Center Expo

Murata will participate in a joint exhibit with NTT Data Intellilink Corporation at the 7th Data Center Expo.

Murata will exhibit products designed for use in various types of equipment installed in data centers. There will also be presentations in the Murata booth.

Products for use with HVDC racks

Murata will present lithium-ion battery modules that can be connected to a DC power supply providing high-efficiency power conversion or to an HVDC output. There will also be demonstrations of wireless sensor networks allowing monitoring of the environment within a data center.

  • DC-DC converters supporting high-voltage, direct current supply
  • Lithium-ion batteries
  • Wireless sensor networks for environment monitoring
 * PFC: An abbreviation of power factor correction circuit, a type of circuit that improves the power factor. The power factor corresponds to the efficiency of an AC power supply. A power factor of 1 (100%) indicates the maximum current and voltage efficiency. A PFC circuit is designed to bring the power factor of a power supply closer to 1.
