RBA consists of global electronic equipment manufacturers and supplies, and aims to make continual improvement in the labor, health and safety, environment, ethic, and management system areas through global supply chains. Murata is working on improvement activities following the RBA Code of Conduct as a company participating in the RBA.
Risk evaluation using the RBA SAQ (Self-Assessment Questionnaire) is implemented at all domestic and overseas production sites. Additionally, major production sites continuously undergo the RBA VAP (Validated Assessment Program). Results of RBA SAQ and RBA VAP are shared with production sites and relevant organizations in order to determine current situations, identify issues, and make improvements.
Additionally, Murata promotes this initiative with its suppliers and is working to achieve fair business activities in which both organizations will work as one.
