MAGICSTRAP® RFID Tag Device
Small-size RF tag device
Important details of this small-size RF tag, which is the smallest of its kind in the world, are presented below.
Incorporating an antenna and matching circuit into the multilayer substrate achieved smaller physical dimensions than those yielded by existing RFID tags, enabling the new tag to be installed even in confined spaces.
This new device means that traceability can be controlled wirelessly by means of a single RFID tag in every process from the manufacture of electronic products and equipment to their distribution, operation, repair and disposal.
RFID device featuring wired I2C interface
Bidirectional communication is enabled by combining the RFID device with RFID wireless functions.
The device can be used in such applications as establishing the initial settings of products and appliances and acquiring their operation histories, as well as in data loggers and other such equipment, and it enables wireless communication even when a power outage has occurred or when a product’s batteries have run down.
