As a New Face in the Field of Healthcare, Murata Has Zealously Responded to Customer Needs / Hideharu Ieki

IEKI, Hideharu

After joining Murata in 1974, Hideharu Ieki participated in material development for zinc oxide piezoelectric thin film and development of devices based on this technology. He then engaged in SAW device development before being dispatched to Kanazawa Murata Manufacturing to oversee the SAW device business. He returned to Murata Manufacturing in 2003 as Vice President and General Manager of Components Division 4 and became General Manager of Device Business Unit in 2005. He became Director and Executive Vice President in 2007 and has held his current position since 2008.
His hobbies are skiing, fishing, listening to music and reading. He tries his best to be himself.
