MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index是由美国MSCI公司开发编制的指数，甄选了特别是在环境、社会、治理（ESG）方面表现优异的日本企业。从2023年度开始村田入选为该指数的组成股。

FTSE4Good Index Series是为了评测衡量有卓越的环境、社会和治理（ESG）实践的企业的表现而被设计出来的，被广泛应用于可持续投资基金和其他金融商品的设计和评估。从2019年度开始村田入选为该指数的组成股。

“SOMPO可持续发展运用”是SOMPO资产管理株式会社向环境、社会、治理（ESG）评估高的企业广泛投资的专用于养老基金与机构投资者的责任投资产品。其重视基于调查公司的ESG评估（可持续发展评估），选定投资品牌后，根据特有的主动型指数“SOMPO可持续发展指数”进行以长期投资为目标的运用。

iSTOXX MUTB Japan Platinum Career 150 Index是由150家积极为其员工提供职业发展的日本企业组成的指数。从2023年度开始村田入选为该指数的组成股。

S&P/JPX碳效率指数以显示日本市场动向的代表性股票价格指数TOPIX为股票池，通过着眼于环境信息披露情况和碳效率（每收入单位碳排放量）水平，来决定成分股的权重。

Morningstar Japan ex REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index旨在帮助投资者关注将性别多元化政策融入企业文化，并确保为员工提供平等机会（无论性别）的公司。组成股分为5组，村田制作所入选第1组（高位）。

White 500是由经济产业省对实践优良健康经营的大型法人进行甄选及认定的制度。村田从2017年开始连续9年获得该项认证。

CDP Climate是国际非营利性环保组织CDP在应对气候变化对策的目标设定、措施、信息披露方面，授予世界优秀企业的评价。村田自2021年度起连续4年获得领导力级别评价，2024年度是第3次“入选A级名单^※”。

供应链参与领导者是对企业在气候变化课题方面如何有效地与供应商协作的评价，根据CDP关于气候变化的调查，从“治理、目标、Scope3排放量、价值链参与度”4个领域的回答进行评价。村田从2020年度起获评“供应链参与领导者”称号。

Sustainalytics ESG Risk Ratings是Sustainalytics公司为机构投资者提供的ESG（环境、社会和治理）风险评估，评估企业对行业特定风险中可管理风险的应对情况。村田被评为风险等级较低的企业（Low Risk）。

EcoVadis公司通过独立、可靠的协同平台提供全面评估企业可持续发展的服务。从“环境”、“劳动和人权”、“伦理”、“可持续资源采购”4个领域，对超过10万家(175个国家，200多个行业)的企业进行评估。
村田从2022年度起连续3年获得了该“Gold Medal”，该奖项授予全部对象企业中排名前5%的企业。

ISS ESG是美国股东投票咨询公司Institutional Shareholder Services Inc.（ISS）的责任投资部门，从“环境”、“社会”、“管理”的角度对企业开展的举措进行评估。
